2010
I hope you have all been blessed by our focus on Acts 2:42 this month! We have devoted evenings to focus on the apostles’ teaching, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. This Friday, Andrew Gutierrez will share his testimony with us, and Justin Lyon will lead us in the month’s final devotional, on the subject of fellowship. And, on the subject of fellowship: it’s a potluck! I hope to see you all there.
We will continue our less formal worship and study this week, part of the Acts 2:42 initiative. Jon Vince will bring us his second message, on the subject of prayer. How timely this will be, just two weeks after hearing Dr. Block preaching on the subject!
As usual, we will meet at 7:30 in the J-Building basement. I look forward to seeing you all there — with guests! For those who are interested, prayer begins at 6:45.
What a great time it was to worship the Lord with you all last week, and I think that the night was well accepted with the Acts 2:42 initiative.
This week we will be in the same place, Basement of the J building, and at the same time, 7:30pm, continuing on with our Acts 2:42 initiative. This week Bo will be leading in a devotional on the topic of breaking bread, or better known as The Lord’s Table, also know as Communion. We will not be partaking in the activity but getting our hearts ready for Sunday to partake with the greater Grace Community Church Body.
I am looking forward to the fruit of this month and may it spur us on to a lifestyle of Acts 2:42.
Epoch, it has been a while since we have come together as a bible study. I hope you all had a marvelous time celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and had a marvelous time bringing in the New Year. Let this be a time of reflection.
What we are going to be doing this Friday is introducing an Acts 2:42 month focusing on how the body functions, as a body. Our beloved Hohn Cho will be bringing us a devotional, yes, a devotional on the Apostles teachings.
I hope to see each and everyone of you there, with guests might I add, and let us worship Him together (Psalm 34:3).
I hope that you all had a great time celebrating with thanks to our Great God for all that He is and for all that He does.
I give thanks that He is allowing to come back together this Friday together again. This will be the last formal Epoch meeting of the year and we have the privileged of hearing the Word of God brought to us by His servant, Hohn, who will be preaching on 1 Peter 5:6-14. This will be bringing a close to the Letter from Peter and what a fruitful study it was.
As well, Angela Sur will be giving her testimony. Angela has been with Epoch since its inception back in 2005 and has faithfully served. She has been a core group leader and has expressed immense wisdom and love for the Savior. To hear how the Lord brought her to Himself will be a treat.
Also, we will be saying farewell to Mike Elliot and his fiancee, Andrea Hulbirt. This will be there last Friday night with us before their wedding in January.
So please join us in celebrating this gift that God has given us in fellowship this Friday.
We will not be having Epoch this weekend. But we will instead be celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. Remember not only think on what you are thankful for, but more importantly, who you are thankful too.
See you on December 5.
Dear Saints, what a joy it is to live in light of the Grace of God through our Lord Jesus. May we press on to maturity in Him.
We have the awesome privilege of joining together this Friday for rich fellowship. We will be back in the basement.
Bo will be preaching from 1 Peter 5:1-5 so please be in prayer for him.
Also, Pius and a few others will be giving their testimony of the success the Lord is having in evangelism. My prayer is that this will stir all of us up to have a lifestyle of evangelism. See you there.
Epoch, we have the joy of joining with the rest of the Foundry this Friday in the last installment of Pastor Kurt’s Reformation series. I look forward to spending time with you all.
What a treat we have this Friday. Our dearly loved Jon Vince will be preaching for the first time at Epoch on 1 Peter 4:12-19.
Jon has been with Epoch since its birth in 2005 and has been faithful to us in leading a Core Group for majority of his time with us. He has had much impact on us with his fervent love for the Savior and his passion for the Saviors body.
Please be in prayer for him.
As well, we have one of our new seminary students that has committed to Epoch, Christ Bogstad, sharing his testimony of how he came to know Christ.
Brother’s and Sister’s in the Lord, I lift praises daily for you. This Friday we have the pleasure of fellowshipping again in the presence of Christ.
Also Hohn will be preaching from 1 Peter 4:7-11. Please be in prayer for him and also for Tim Ross who will be sharing his testimony of Christ in his life.
Don’t forget, you have the liberty to dress up as a saint, since it is Hallowed Eve (All Saints Day) and whoever does gets a reward from me. HAHAHA
