Epochians, we will once again be joining with our fellow Foundry-ites as Pastor Kurt continues through his series on The Pillars of Grace Church. It will be a great time of fellowship and edification. Please be in prayer for your Leaders and for Kurt.
What an honor it is to announce that Chris Bogstad, who is one of our own and a seminary student, will be bringing the Word to us this Friday. He will be continueing our “Themes of the Proverbs” series with a lesson on the theme of Anger. This is no light subject and is deserving of our full attention, so I pray that you will join us this Friday to hear from the Word of God through the mouth of Chris.
Also, please be praying for him since this is his first time preaching to Epoch and, as Hohn mentioned, feedback is welcome to this young Pastor in training.
Dear Saints, it is a joy to inform you that we will be meeting with all of Foundry this Friday in the basement for some sweet time of fellowship, teaching, and worship. Pastor Kurt is starting a new series on Grace Community Church distinctives. This will be a rich time and hope to see you all there.
Don’t forget that our retreat is coming up soon, this Friday is the final day to get it at the early bird price.
Dear Saints of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. This Friday we will not be meeting in the basement, but instead meeting with the greater body of Grace Community Church in remembrance of the day that our Savior went to the cross and bore the sins of the world. I pray that this week you draw closer to God as you travel down the pages of Scripture as if you were walking with Christ on the road to Calvary.
Then on Sunday we Celebrate with extreme joy and devotion over His resurrection. Praise God He lives, because in Him, we live. I pray that you will not be challenged alone by this week and understanding what He suffered and conquered, but instead I hope that you will be changed continually.
23 You who fear the Lord, praise Him; All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, And stand in awe of Him, all you descendants of Israel.
Psalms 22:23 (NASB)
This is a very exciting time for us. We have our very own Foundry shepherd coming to us to deliver the second message in our Themes of the Proverbs series. The topic is on teachability and humility which is a topic that is very near and dear to Kurt.
Also, we will be blessed by Compelled joining us. Please join the leadership team in making them feel welcome and warm.
I look forward to our time together again in fellowship.
This Friday our own Pastor Kurt and his lovely wife, Julie, will be joining us for the evening. They will be sharing their testimonies and we will have a time to pick their brain via a Q&A time. They are a major blessing and have been used by the Lord in many peoples lives. This is an evening you don’t want to miss!!!
I look forward to our time of fellowship and hope that you all are rejoicing in our Great Savior.
Epoch, what a joy it was last week to serve and fellowship with Pastor’s and deacons from all over the world. But it was a sad time as well, since we weren’t able to come together and fellowship, but we rejoice.
Now that we will be back together, we will spend and dedicate this Friday to praising and pleading with the Lord for Him to glorify Himself through us and in the world. May we be a bible study that prays.
David Hensler will lead the evening and also will give his testimony of Christ’s work in his life, and how the Savior revealed Himself to David.
I look forward to our time together and long to rejoice around the throne of God with you all.
What a blessing it is that God allows us to participate in His work through evangelism! I trust you were all blessed by last week’s message. This week, Bo will bring us part 2 of his evangelism workshop. This time, he will focus on delivering the Gospel to people we may never see more than once. I hope to see you all there! 7:30 in the J-building basement, as usual!
Brothers and sisters, I hope you enjoyed the Acts 2:42 month and the return of Epoch “alumni”! This week we return to our sermon-and-discussion format. Bo Nelson will begin a workshop series on evangelism, focusing on the importance of living each day in a way that visibly proclaims the power and love of Christ. As usual, we meet at GCC at 7:30. Please consider joining us for prayer at 6:45 near the Fireside room.
What a great month we had getting back to what body life should be like as it was back in the early Church days. The Acts 2:42 month was a great blessing to many and a great blessing to me as well.
This Friday we have a treat. We are having back couples who have come through our ministry and served diligantly and then got married. They will be sharing with us what the Lord has taught them in their time thus far. We will have couples that have been married almost 3 years to a little over a month so some will see old familiar faces and others will see who was once our leaders back in the day. It will be a real treat and I look forward to the fellowship that we richly have every Friday night.
