I hope you have all been blessed by our focus on Acts 2:42 this month! We have devoted evenings to focus on the apostles’ teaching, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. This Friday, Andrew Gutierrez will share his testimony with us, and Justin Lyon will lead us in the month’s final devotional, on the subject of fellowship. And, on the subject of fellowship: it’s a potluck! I hope to see you all there.

Bubba Solt and his wife, Robbie, have blessed all of Foundry with their desire to minister to younger Christians, as well as the example they set in love and devotion to Christ. Bubba’s joy, even in the face of adversity, is an encouragement to all.
In this expanded testimony, Bubba recounts the power of God at work in his own life, from salvation, preserving him through severe trials, and powerfully working in ministry.

We will continue our less formal worship and study this week, part of the Acts 2:42 initiative. Jon Vince will bring us his second message, on the subject of prayer. How timely this will be, just two weeks after hearing Dr. Block preaching on the subject!
As usual, we will meet at 7:30 in the J-Building basement. I look forward to seeing you all there — with guests! For those who are interested, prayer begins at 6:45.

Our beloved leader, Hohn, treated us well with sharing the testimony of Christ’s saving work in his life. To see the work of the Lord in the expression of Hohn’s conversion is just another reminder of God’s redeeming work.
Hohn has been part of Epoch since it began and in late 2007 went to the 310 bible study to be a foreman. But the Lord saw it fit to bring him back to Epoch as our head foreman in June of 2008, and since then he has labored with all diligence and love to care for us here. It is no wonder why all at Epoch love him.

Angela has been part of Epoch since its beginning and has dearly loved everyone who has come through this ministry. She served as a Core Group leader for a couple of years and has built intimate relationships with many of the ladies. Her kindness and wisdom are two of the greatest traits that one can have and she has both.
She recently accepted a job in Washington, D.C. and moved there on Dec. 30. You will hear how the Lord worked in her life and you will hear a heartfelt goodbye to Epoch from this amazing Woman of God.

What a great time it was to worship the Lord with you all last week, and I think that the night was well accepted with the Acts 2:42 initiative.
This week we will be in the same place, Basement of the J building, and at the same time, 7:30pm, continuing on with our Acts 2:42 initiative. This week Bo will be leading in a devotional on the topic of breaking bread, or better known as The Lord’s Table, also know as Communion. We will not be partaking in the activity but getting our hearts ready for Sunday to partake with the greater Grace Community Church Body.
I am looking forward to the fruit of this month and may it spur us on to a lifestyle of Acts 2:42.
